Welcome to Clancy eLeaders

Welcome to the Official eLeaders Website

The team is comprised of students from Years 7-11 with a passion for using technology in their learning. As an Apple Distinguished School, our 1:1 MacBook context informs much of the agenda for the eLeaders. Students in this group are a voice for the student body regarding all things technology including how to complete day to day tasks online to sharing Public Service Announcements. When there is a question around the use of technology, the eLeaders are there to trouble shoot and clarify. We discuss how to make students’ use of technology in the classroom authentic, easy and implicit in the way we learn. One of our central aims is to promote effective and safe online behaviours.

On our Project page we have showcased the eLeader video projects, also accessible from our College YouTube Channel. Here, we hope our Tech Talks and Public Service Announcements as well as competition entries serve to educate and entertain our community.

College News and events can be followed from The Feed. This media outlet is unique to Clancy and feeds our community information about what’s happening around our school.

The eLeader Team have been involved in CEO Sydney’s PSYberFest initiative since its inception in 2013. This is a project aimed at educating students on the topic of cyber safety. We created the S.C.R.E.E.N infographic for this competition in 2013 and it was tweeted worldwide. Clancy has adopted this method to screen for cyber bullies. Last year our informative video placed second over all.

If you have any suggestions or questions for the team, please see the Contact Us page for our details.
